BEER-HACKET, a parish in the hundred of SHERBORNE, Sherborne division of the county of DORSET, 5 miles (S.W. by S.) from Sherborne, containing 78 inhabitants.

The living is a discharged rectory, within the peculiar jurisdiction of the Dean of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £6. 2. 8½. Sir John Munden was patron in 1785. The church is dedicated to St. Michael.
