Sunset over Christchurch HoarbourThis small town on the coast in the very eastern part of Dorset, sits on the confluence of two rivers, the Stour and the Avon. The harbour is a haven for wildlife and attracts visitors ranging from fishermen to sailors and water sports enthusiasts.

Christchurch takes its name from the Priory which dominates the town.

There is a market on Mondays.
